Admission procedure
The use of the RAL-GZ 662 Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) is subject to the successful completion of the GSK admission procedure in accordance with the respectively valid statutes and the Quality and Inspection Regulations and Implementation Regulations.
The basic procedure for obtaining GSK membership and the GSK Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) is as follows:
- Justification of membership – submission of the fully completed application for membership
- Carrying out a fee required technical pre-audit to check whether the candidate for admission is able to implement the quality requirements according to RAL-GZ 662 within 6 months.
- After a positive completion of the pre-audit, the candidate will be admitted as a member
- Carrying out of the first audit (announced)
- Evaluation by the Quality Committee
- Carrying out the second audit
- Evaluation by the Quality Committee
- If both audits have been positively assessed by the Quality Committee, the RAL-GZ 662 Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) is subsequently awarded.
- Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) users appear on the GSK website
- The company receives a certificate of award with the date of validity, the GSK ID number and the GSK logo for the product labelling
- Publication of the GSK ID number on the ID number list
- GSK products are to be marked with the GSK logo and ID after manufacturing
The audits check whether the technical requirements of the Quality and Inspection Regulations are met.
