RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification
RAL Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V. (German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification) ensures the independence of RAL Quality Marks (Gütezeichen).
With its Guidelines for Quality Marks (Gütezeichen), GSK is able to update its Quality and Inspection Regulations and Implementation Regulations in line with the latest developments in science and technology. This enables the GSK to be recognized by RAL, whereby RAL can draw on the necessary independent technical and industry experts in the recognition process.
The high requirements of RAL Quality Assurance RAL-GZ-662 are anchored in the Quality and Inspection Regulations, Implementation Regulations and Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) Statutes. If a company verifiably fulfil all of these, the GSK Executive Committee will, at the suggestion of the GSK Quality Committee, award the company the RAL Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) for a fixed period. The company's approval is then listed on the GSK homepage.

Certificates
Every member company, that has been awarded the RAL quality mark by the GSK Executive Committee, receives a certificate on which the quality-assured products (valves and fittings or coating materials) are named.
All quality-assured member companies and products are listed on the GSK website.
Companies from which the quality mark has been withdrawn by the Executive Committee are no longer allowed to use the quality mark and will also be deleted from the website.
Candidates for admission are only awarded the quality mark after two positive inspections. The candidates are listed on the GSK website only after the two positive inspections.
