Quality and inspection by a third party
From material tests and process parameters to self-monitoring measures on production parts, everything in the valve and fitting manufacturers' production process is fully checked and recorded. In addition, at least two unannounced third-party inspections are performed annually on behalf of GSK by independent and accredited testing institutes. These third-party inspections by independent testing institutes precisely check whether the specifications of Quality Assurance RAL-GZ 662 have actually been implemented in the member company and all technical requirements have been fulfilled.
If the manufacturer fulfils the high requirements of RAL Auality Assurance RAL-GZ 662, it is awarded the RAL Quality Mark (Gütezeichen) of the GSK after verification by the Quality Committee.
